Fighting for Defined Benefit Pensioners 

The Canadian Federation of Pensioners (CFP) advocates on behalf of defined benefit pension plans and their members.

We believe:

1. Pensions are deferred wages. They are earned while working,
   and are payable after retirement.

2. Pensioners deserve the full pension to which their
   former employer committed.

3. Legislation and regulations passed by governments without the consent, approval or involvement of pensioners has resulted in pensioners losing a portion of their income for the rest of their lives.

Canadian pensioners have worked hard all their lives and deserve to have their pensions protected. We are fighting to ensure governments across Canada work together to safeguard defined benefit pensions.
